Q: What are your hours?

We are open by appointment only, seven days a week. We take our first appointment at 9:00AM and our last at 6:00PM.

Q: If I find my dress during my appointment, do I get to take it home with me?

No, we will order you a new gown in your size and from there it will take 3-6 months to arrive!

Q: Do I have to pay in full? are all sales final?

Yes love, all sales are final! You can pay in full as well, but you don’t have to. We require a 60% deposit with the remaining balance due when the dress arrives. 

Q: Do you offer in-house alterations?

We don’t do alterations at our boutique but we have great recommendations in the city. 

Q: Is there parking at Alice in Ivory?

We don’t have a designated parking space but there is meter parking out front on Armitage avenue. There are always a lot of spots available.

Q: What should I bring with me to my appointment?

We suggest wearing nude undergarments and a strapless bra or sticky cups. If you feel more comfortable and are planning on wearing Spanx under your dress then feel free to bring them. We also suggest bringing a pair of heels if you plan on wearing them.

Q: How many guests may I bring?

 We don’t have a limit on guests but we are a smaller boutique and suggest keeping it under 6. Sometimes if you bring too many people then it makes it harder to make a decision because of all of the different opinions.

Q: How far in advance should I book my appointment? I'm so excited!

If you are looking for a weekend only we suggest making your appointment as far out as possible. We book out on weekends 2-3 months. The earlier the better!

Q: How far in advance should I order my gown?

It is never too early to purchase a dress! We suggest ordering your gown 10-12 months before your wedding. You want to leave time for alterations and most importantly for peace of mind!
